John 15: 4 , Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
My 6 year old daughter who is quite athletic, had to compete recently in a sporting event at school.. she was quite excited about it because she believed she had practiced well enough. That morning, during my quiet time, I felt led to pray for her heart desire of winning to be granted. After praying, I went to the kids room to wake them up to get ready for school. My daughter woke up crying, and narrated a dream she had about loosing the game..we held each other’s hand and prayed together. At the event, she was first in line in the game for her class but she tripped at her first attempt. She failed again at her second, and ended up being dismissed totally. It was her father’s first time of attending such an event at their school so it meant so much to her. After the event, I noticed she didn’t say a word to my husband, and after he left for work, she tearfully said, “Mummy, I lost”. Then I said to her, “it’s perfectly normal darling, accidents do happen” .
In prayer that evening, I began to ask the Lord why my daughter failed because we prayed about it and I gave her the assurance that God answers prayer and so it was settled. I was a bit disconcerted and in my quest for answers, the Lord told me he had a hand in it all. He went further to explain that His relationship with me is different from His relationship with my daughter and that He needed to teach her to understand His voice.
I said, “ but how?” and the Lord said, “ If she prays after every dream and it doesn’t happen, she will begin to take the bigger dreams for granted and think it was nothing after-all “. “ When she matures in it and understands my voice, I will begin to teach her how to alter her days and destiny by overcoming the obstacles that hold her back through prayer”.
God wants to share intimacy with even little children.
The moment you feel the need for God in your life, quickly pray to accept Him as your Lord and savior and voila, the relationship with the Father begins.
In every relationship, communication is key.. begin to pour out your heart to the Father and don’t just walk away when you do- allow Him time to also speak to you- He always does. Most of the time, we are just too busy to listen or hear Him speak.
Cultivate the habit of waiting a little more for feedback from the Father when you finish talking to Him. Soon, you’ll be able to distinguish between the Lord’s voice and your intuition.

material as you did, the web will be a lot more useful
